Did You Make Room for Jesus?

Posted by: Bishop Shammah Womack-El in Untagged  on Print PDF

When Joseph and Mary went from Inn to Inn there was no room. They were turned away. Later, they ended up in a stable, a barn with animals using hay to make a bed for their new born whose name was Jesus the Christ. Today people make Christmas lists and never put his name on the list. Some get an attitude when they don't get a gift even though it's not their birthday.Question, how did you make room for Jesus today? Did you celebrate his birth or your new present?

Great Message!

Just wanted to let you know Bishop, that you preached a great message on the 25th. I learned that sometimes in life we get so caught up in other activities that we may forget about Jesus; We always have to have a conscious mindset on making sure there is room for Jesus. Once again, I'm learning how to better my life through your messages. Once again, Thanks- Julian Alleyne

Hi Bishop,

Thanks for the excellent message on December 25th "WILL YOU MAKE ROOM FOR JESUS?"
I really enjoyed this message and how you made it so relevant to today's time. I so wish many others can hear the message. I hope you can do it again and record it just so others can hear the message. I will continue to share what you have spoke. Although I don't celebrate the holiday due to my understanding and knowledge. Each day I do make room for Jesus in my life. I truly believe we are to celebrate life and what he has provided and be an act of worship every day as our gift to him. I believe my "present" to Christ would be to do and be more like him and display a life that others will want to follow. I will continue to Let him in my life. The holiday Christmas is so commercialize where even churches celebrate it and its excluding Christ. Anyway I will not go on a tangent about that. I'm grateful for your teaching the uniqueness of it and Grateful for your great insight that God has provided you. Making room for Jesus, gives us/me the God conscious mind, Thanks for speaking the Truth and not bowing down or comprimising the Truth for gain as many churches, religions, etc do. Truly you are a Great Example to follow as you follow Christ. Please continue to speak the Truth I am listening, growing, watching, moving and elevating in my knowledge of the Truth thats being presented. This message reins right with what I quietly know and share outside of the ministry. Again thanks for the thought Provoking Question which cause each of us to examine ourselves "Will you make room for Jesus?"

room for Jesus

Indeed Bishop, Jesus is too often forgotten, and I admit that I too am sometimes guilty of not giving enough credit and dedication to Him on His day by being so caught up in the commercialization of it all, and for that I repent. May I be ever growing in Him though, being stronger in personal faith and external ministry, therefore I'm thankful for the type of teachings from this ministry that help keep me in line through such questions as this and dynamic teachings that stretch beyond the popular and the wider road, leading us on a narrower path. Bless you TRL.

Bishop – I am not only making room for Jesus but I'm also making room for the Holy Spirit in my life as well. Thank you for your message on Sunday, 12-27-09, and for the gentle reminder that we all need to examine ourselves and get back to the basics. Some of that "old time religion" is still good for us today.

Bishop, I first want to thank you for providing me with a question that when answered, will elevate me to another level.

Will I make room for Jesus? A question that I did not think that I would have to ask but yet when asked I see that it not so easily answered. If I am honest with myself I realize that so often I do not make room for Jesus in me. I have become better at being more God-like in my day-to-day living and although I've gotten better, I am far from where I need to be. I realize that Jesus is present in me and need to allow his divinity to be manifested in my daily living. I am grateful for the Bishop and the Temple of Radiant Light for providing me guidance, love, information, tools, and the understanding of my birthright the divine sonship of God.

"Jesus is the everlasting presence in me."

Thank you, Bishop, for your always enlightening messages, particularly, "Will You Make Room for Jesus?" What a thought-provoking question! With all of the hustle, bustle, and commercialism of the holiday, it's quite easy to lose sight of the real reason for the season - to celebrate the "earth birth" of our Redeemer and Lord, Jesus Christ. Thankfully, I did remember to honor Jesus on his [supposed] solar return, and honestly, Bishop, it was your teaching over the years and the Holy Spirit that prompted me to do so. I'm grateful that your divinely inspired messages and prophetic presence in my life have raised my Christ conscience to realize that it's okay to be peculiar (eg., using Christmas time and all year 'round to focus on Christ, his countless blessings, and being a blessing to others) and not so wise to do what the masses do (ie., forget about Jesus and go into debt shopping for everyone else... when it's not even their birthday). After all, as the Prophetic Physician says, "If you follow the herd, you're bound to step in what they leave behind!"smilies/shocked.gif

Bishop – Your message on Christmas Day. "Will You Make Room For Jesus." was truly enlightening. Here's some of what I got out of it:
Jesus is the God conscious mind in every man.
Christ is the presence of God in me and the presence of God in you now and forever more.
Christ is in the suite of my mind.
The truth about yourself is divine sonship.
Each person must come to the realization that I am what Jesus is.
Jesus is victorious, healing, prosperity, etc.
You are exactly what Jesus is, the son of God.
God wants to individualize himself in you.
God has already given you everything you need to be "successful".
According to your faith, so be it unto you.
There's nothing keeping you back but yourself.
Make room for Jesus, the God conscious mind in every man, in the suite of your mind.
Thanks Bishop for the magnificent teaching and revelaing the truth.

Blessed Holidays Bishop! Thsnk you for the excellent message Entitled, WILL YOU MAKE ROOM FOR JESUS? Are we making room inside the Inn in us.We should know for ourselves that Jesus is in us because we have to let Him inside -He is knocking but He is not going to force himself inside. Christ is the presence of God in me and the presence of God in you, now and forever more. On each card that I attached to the gifts I wrote, Thank God for Jesus, our gift of eternal life.

Thank You and continued Blessings!

You told us we are all one divine sonship of God -God is no respecter of person. Proof of ourselves is divine sonship-I am what Jesus is-VICTORIOUS!Nothing is keeping me back except myself. I and my father are one.
