Fasting Shows You That Man Is A Disease

Yes you heard right. Have you ever just been fed up and wish it was over. That's because “Man is a disease.” To be not at-ease is a dis-ease. Man is unhappy; he wants to be something else, somewhere else. “Man as man is incurable. Unless he becomes divine, he can’t be cured. The more distance you create between you and your body, the nearer you are to the divine. And this nearness transforms you.” I feel that I'm losing my flesh daily because it is dying daily but my sacred self is LIFE!
To cure sickness, the first step is to accept it. The toughest thing is when a person doesn’t accept his sickness. Then he won’t benefit from the medicine. Seek first the Kingdom of God because nobody else really cares but your heavenly Father. The real master is a physician, not of your ordinary diseases, but of your existential conflicts.When you live in divinity you drop your disease called-Man. What is man? A disease.

Ouch! I guess alot of us (myself included) have been in the spiritual dunce category for a while. Whoever said "Ignorance is bliss," must have been a dumb-dumb, too. It is clear and so it is hard to see. A dunce once searched for a fire with a lighted lantern. Had he known what fire was, he could have cooked his rice much sooner.Fasting and prayer gives you back your vision to see what you already have.

I am so thankful that the Spirit searcheth all things and unveils the truth of what is found to each of us. We all have our individual truths to deal with and I wish each of you well on your journey. Phenomenal truth. Looking at self is one thing but to accept where I am and that I need to improve-a divine makeover, I must be fasting. I am willing to be divinly cured of self. God as my surgeon using the divine scalpel to sever the useless. Thank you Bishop. Blessings to you.

I liked how you said Dis-ease and we must accept. Yes Fed Up I been there.
. Ooooo So I must accept where I am no matter how displeased even if I think I shouldn't be where I am. Hey, I just got it, the reminder, "Be content in all things so Peace will come on the scene". Okay I just took the deep breathe and accepted it and not rejected it. Now Im not Dis-ease Im at ease with the present fact. Now I will do something about it. Wow Great I'm not Dis-Ease no longer in the area of that discomfort. Thanks Bishop, I still got a lot of work to do. But I'm willing... Thanks, I will continue to draw closer to the Father - LIFE. Something things take a moment to change and somethings take a little bit longer. But at this moment during this blog session I accepted and at ease.

I find this blog quite interesting, Bishop. It reminds of Psalm 82 (which you've taught on extensively). "Ye are gods...But ye shall die like men,..." (vv.6-7). We choose to die like mere men when we fail to walk in our true estate, our godly demesne - DIVINITY.
