To Exercise or Not to Exercise that Is the Question?

I personally have a saying that goes like this: Use it or lose it and use it you'll lose it (extra body fat that is). Training gives us an outlet for suppressed energies created by stress and thus tones the spirit just as exercise conditions the body. Those of you that have been following my program and fasting revival exercise adventure -give me your thoughts on the workouts you been experiencing. Is it worth it or not?

Thank you Bishop for making yourself available to us as a Personal Fitness Trainer during the Fasting Revival and such a busy schedule. You are working parts of me that I forgot existed. I am more conscious of my overall being as well as being more intuned with every area in my life; especially the areas that need balance and order. My mind is clearer, my worries are fading and I am more focused on capturing the moment of the present, the gift God has given us all. Thank you for the Holistic approach-the all of me-spiritual, mental, physical, financial and social.....

My Dearest Bishop and Husband,
Your fearless courage and constant confidence in GOD never cease to astound me. Thank you for being one of [probably] few clergy, bishops especially, who would step down from his pulpit in order to "pull people out of the pit". The late great Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. once said, (and I paraphrase), that the true character of a man should not be judged by his behavior in times of convenience and comfort, but by his conduct in times of challenge and adversity. Man of GOD, again and again, during the most tumultous of times, when many others would no doubt throw up their hands in helpless surrender, I have seen you dig even deeper your heels of faith and conviction in GOD, kick dirt into the face of hardship, and actually do something about it. Thank GOD from Whom all blessings flow, you don't just stand there frozen in disbelief [as have many, shaking our heads in pity, while watching news coverage of Haiti, as well as numerous other reported tragedies]. Yes, Bishop you actually take God's Word that you so eloquently preach and act upon it. You not only talk the talk, but you also walk the walk.
Your father and mentor, the late great Dr. Donald Womack, taught you well. I am so blessed to be your wife. The children and I keep you in Christ consciousness, and whatever help you need in whatever you do, as always, I am here for you. Peace and Blessings.

Fasting Revival and Exercise

The Fasting Revival is great, although I'm not on a complete fast yet, but just eliminated the foods which I had no idea I was addicted to. Right now, I really don't desire to eat the breads, flour products or sweetners. I did notice at one point last night, I had a brief craving, but my awareness was heighted to understand that my mood was down because a particular situation that was taken place. When I became concious of it, I just allowed myself to work it out without reaching for somethins sweet, and immediately began to do something to change my mood without a strugle this time. If I was able to take control of my reaction then, I can continue to control it, thus being delivered and set free.

Today's blog talk radio session was very interesting. Detoxification helps your body AND your spirit. Your explanation of how the organs aid in detoxification was enlightening. I know many, including myself, who thought ab work was the primary answer to a big gut. The truth is you must clean the body and stop trashing the body. Fasting allows the body to rest and give the organs an opportunity to work on your behalf. I am committed to respecting my temple IN DEED. Strengthening the nerve fibers of the body is of utmost importance. Thank you for the teaching.

That is a powerful statement Bishop. Its truth can be applied to any arena. Thank you for treating me as though I AM what I am capable of becoming. Thank you so much for the fitness training. I know you don't train with us for YOUR benefit. You are doing US a favor. We'd probably pass out if we did one of your personal workout sessions. Thank God for stages. My mother taught me that people don't have to like you and they don't have to do anything for you. So, YOU don't HAVE to do what you are doing with us. I know there are other necessary things you could do with your time. Your time is appreciated. I can't speak for anyone else but I KNOW I will reach my goal. Your efforts will not be in vain. Also, God bless you for the fasting revival. This fasting revival and all it entails is sealing what I know took place on the inside of me in the latter part of December. I AM looking forward to blooming where I am planted and just being a delight and a blessing unto the Lord and others. I know that sounds corny. I am a bit odd.

If I accept you as you are, I will make you worse; however if I treat you as though you are what you are capable of becoming, I help you become that

“If you decide to do different, think different, react different, eat different, live different and communicate different…. you’ll be different.” Better.Leaner.Lighter.Healthier.Excited.Happy.Fulfilled.Content. “But creating your best life has nothing to do with destiny… and everythig to do with decisions.” This is why the Fasting Revival is vital.

Bishop, Your saying, "Use it or lose it, and use it you'll lose it" is not only catchy, but also very, very true. After veering off course from my own exercise regimen, I have personal experience in the "use it or lose it" or should I say "use it or loose it" theory. (Though my dear, sweet hubby always insists that He likes it just fine. Thank you, Bishop,
) Now that I'm back on your exercise program via the fasting revival, I'm getting a pleasant [and painful, but in a good way] reminder of how it feels to "use" those muscles that have been on hiatus and "lose", shed and shred that unwanted excess body fat. Thank you for the kick in the tushy I needed to get back on course and back in shape!

Bishop, I enjoy the workouts. It is fun. Yes, that is what I said. It is challenging and fun. Each routine is different which prevents boredom. I feel more energetic, stronger and peaceful. I do have to drink more water earlier in the day. I notice that my stomach is bloating more and more. I think it is because of the toxins, and waste being released but I need much more water to flush it all out. The stomach bloating is down this morning so I think more and more water is the key for me. I wrote down many goals this year and I just knew I was ready to bring them to pass. In the area of exercise I thought I needed to commit to the system I knew. What I didn't know was that I needed a new system that I could commit to. Thank you Bishop. See you and the class tonight.

Dear Bishop,
We are so Blessed to have you as our Prophetic Physician, Bishop, Prelate, Leader and a Great Man of God. To exercise is definitely the answer to your question and it is positively worth it. The combination of exercise which conditions the body, proper training which tones the spirit and fasting which gives us control over what we are fasting from, be it food, people, place or things makes a new you (me) and a new year. Although we may exercise on our own regime, after awhile it becomes status quo. However, with a Certified Trainer, who knows where the issues are lodged in our tissues, also knows how to shake the issues loose and drinking lemon water flushes every thing out. I feel great! Exercising with you is so much fun - we workout, we laugh and we dance, (I dance) all working toward a healthy body, spirit and mind.
Thank you Bishop for caring and sharing.
